Allied Video Productions of Salem, Oregon purchased the name and assets of KTVA Productions, Portland, Oregon.
Retiring owner, Rick Phillips, started KTVA Productions in 1987, and is very pleased that his past and current customers will be treated with the same high-level of service they have come to expect from him, stating "I'm excited to announce that KTVA Productions has been sold to Allied Video Productions, AVP was founded in 1983 by my old friend, Tom Marks. Tom and I served together on the International Television Association's Portland chapter (ITVA) for many years. Tom retired in 2002 selling his business to three long-time employees, Scott Hossner, Jeff Hart and Dan Walker. Jeff Hart has since retired and Brad Steiner became a partner in 2019. They run a thriving production company headquartered in a 12,000 square-foot complex, including a 2,200 square-foot sound stage! Their experience in both video production and event production will make an easy transition for my customers. They have access to previously-produced project files."
